Adrien Rabiot eyes summer move to Manchester United move after Juventus exit
Adrien Rabiot is currently without a club after leaving Juventus
Adrien Rabiot is interested in joining Manchester United this summer but is prepared to let the transfer window run its course before making a final decision, according to 90min.
Having left Juventus after his contract expired earlier this summer, Rabiot turned his focus to finding a new club following France’s exit from Euro 2024.
The report claims that Rabiot is willing to delay his decision as he monitors the evolving transfer market over the final weeks of the summer window.
The French midfielder is keen to stay in Europe and seeks a club that can offer regular European competition.
Manchester United, who will compete in the Europa League next season, are one of his potential destinations.
Rabiot is waiting to see if United will act on their long-standing interest in him.
Currently, United are focused on finalising a deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte.
However, if negotiations falter, Rabiot could become a viable option, especially as his wage demands have reportedly decreased since previous discussions with the Premier League club.
Contrary to some reports, 90min further stated that neither Chelsea nor Liverpool have shown interest in Rabiot this summer.
Rabiot is also attracting significant interest from Galatasaray.
Atletico Madrid might emerge as a contender if their pursuit of Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher falls through.
Additionally, Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab are interested, but Rabiot is unlikely to consider a move to the Middle East unless other options fail to materialise.
With the transfer window still open, Rabiot is content to wait.
As a free agent, he can sign with a new club at any time, though he must do so before the league’s squad registration deadline, typically about two weeks after the window closes.
