Liverpool have set an asking price of €35-40 million for defender Joe Gomez, who is poised for a possible departure before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to CaughtOffside, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Fulham are among the clubs interested in the 27-year-old.
Bayern Munich also expressed interest earlier in the summer.
But, Liverpool have yet to receive any formal offers.
The Reds may also attract interest from the Saudi Pro League.
However, it remains uncertain whether Gomez would prefer to stay in the Premier League or move to one of Europe’s other major leagues.
Gomez has featured less frequently for Liverpool recently, and new head Arne Slot does not appear to be making a concerted effort to retain him.
While Gomez could be an attractive target for several top clubs, it remains to be seen whether Newcastle, Villa, or others will escalate their interest in the England international.
Liverpool currently have solid defensive depth, but some fans might be concerned about the potential impact of losing Gomez, especially in the event of injuries or suspensions.
Joe Gomez, who joined Liverpool in 2015, is one of the club’s longest-serving players.
A versatile and elegant defender, Joe Gomez has navigated significant injury challenges to secure numerous major honours with Liverpool.
Joining the Reds as an 18-year-old from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2015, Gomez has demonstrated his adaptability by playing across the backline, including at centre-back, right-back, and left-back.
In the 2023-24 season, he was a key figure for Liverpool, making 51 appearances in various roles – including in midfield – and adding another Carabao Cup winner’s medal to his collection.
Elsewhere, Vitezslav Jaros, defenders Sepp van den Berg and Nat Phillips, midfielder Tyler Morton, and young wingers Ben Doak and Kaide Gordon were all left out of the squad for the match against Ipswich.
Several of these players are expected to depart Liverpool before the transfer window closes in less than two weeks, either on permanent or temporary transfers.
