Liverpool owner John Henry remained tight-lipped when asked whether the club plans to make any signings before the close of the transfer window.
As of now, Liverpool are the only Premier League club yet to secure any new arrivals during this summer’s window.
Arne Slot, who succeeded Jurgen Klopp as head coach in May, has overseen a number of departures but has not yet added any new players to the squad.
Despite this, Slot’s tenure began positively, with Liverpool securing a 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town on the opening weekend at Portman Road.
However, some sections of Liverpool’s fanbase are growing frustrated by the lack of transfer activity.
The Reds had shown interest in Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi, but he opted to remain with his current club.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi has been linked as a potential addition to bolster Liverpool’s defense, while goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has emerged as a possible target to strengthen their long-term goalkeeping options.
With no new signings confirmed so far, Henry was recently approached about the club’s transfer plans.
In a video circulating on social media, a fan is heard asking, “John, any signings?” as Henry walked out of the Anfield tunnel ahead of Sunday’s match against Brentford.

The American owner continued walking without offering a response, sparking further speculation among supporters.
At a pre-match press conference on Friday, Slot was asked if he was concerned by the lack of new signings.
Responding to the question, the former Feyenoord boss remained composed, explaining his focus on the current squad.
Slot said: “No, because I trust the team.
“I’ve said many times before I inherited a real good team, a team of many young players as well and I think we all know, especially young players they can develop on the ages they are at the moment.
“We just try to work as hard as we can with them and trust them a lot.
“They have proven last week they have earned this trust (by winning 2-0 at Ipswich Town in Liverpool’s Premier League opener) and I am hoping they can show the same on Sunday as well.”
