Andre Onana discloses how Manchester United will prepare for Liverpool tie
Manchester United lost 2-1 to Brighton on Saturday
Andre Onana has stated that Manchester United will “sit and analyze videos” following their 2-1 defeat to Brighton, which saw Joao Pedro score a last-minute winner.
Onana believes this review will help the team learn from their mistakes ahead of their upcoming match against Liverpool on Sunday.
United were edged out by Brighton in a match where they were perceived as the better side.
Looking ahead, Onana expressed confidence in United’s ability to bounce back, particularly with a series of significant fixtures on the horizon.
Arne Slot’s Reds have won both of their Premier League games so far, setting a challenging backdrop for United.
In the coming weeks, United will face Liverpool, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Tottenham, and Aston Villa in a crucial stretch of fixtures.
Onana said: “We have to stick together, especially when we face difficulties and we have to be positive because it’s the second game of the season and I think we’re better than them.
“Of course, we’re going to talk with each other, we’re going to sit and analyse the videos and look at what went wrong, and from there, we will move.
“Big games are coming, big clubs, so the expectation is here, it will be very high. It is [mentality] the key thing now.
“Especially when you are playing for such a big club, and not only me, we have so many players who have that positive mentality and it is really helpful for the club and for the team.
“So we move on, we are used to this, so no problem, we have to get ready again for the games that are coming.
“We want to win everything, that is what we are here for.
“I know the fans and the club and my teammates are disappointed, but we will give everything and hopefully we will win the game – all the coming games.”
