Owen Beck has also had loan stints with Bolton Wanderers and Famalicão, and he featured in three of Liverpool’s pre-season friendlies this summer.

Blackburn Rovers, under the management of head coach John Eustace, have started the Championship season brightly, collecting seven points from their opening three fixtures.

They face a derby clash against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday lunchtime.

A dynamic full-back, Beck rose through Liverpool’s youth system, showcasing his talent with four appearances in the EFL Trophy before making his senior debut during Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Preston North End in the Carabao Cup in October 2021.

He later contributed to Liverpool’s quarter-final win against Leicester City, as the club went on to lift the trophy.

After a brief loan spell with Portuguese top-flight side Famalicão, Beck moved to Bolton Wanderers on loan, where he made nine appearances during the 2022-23 season, tasting defeat only once.

The Wales Under-21 international continued to flourish during a loan stint at Scottish Premiership side Dundee.

His stellar performances earned him a spot in the PFA Team of the Year.

Beck also made his Premier League debut for Liverpool last season, coming on as a substitute in a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth in January.

Having made 28 appearances in Scotland last season, Beck is now poised to take on the challenge of the 2024-25 Championship campaign at Ewood Park.
