Norwich City have secured the signing of 19-year-old Kaide Gordon on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
Gordon made his Liverpool debut in 2021 at Carrow Road against Norwich City in the EFL Cup.
Since then, he has appeared in the Premier League, UEFA Europa League, and the FA Cup.
The right winger has made seven senior appearances for Liverpool and became the club’s youngest-ever FA Cup goalscorer with a goal against Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the 2022 competition.
Gordon has represented England at various youth levels, including Under-15, Under-16, Under-18, and Under-20.
His most recent appearances came in March in the UEFA Under-20 Elite League against Poland and the Czech Republic.
Prior to joining Liverpool, Gordon spent most of his youth career at Derby County, where he broke into the first team before moving to Liverpool in February 2021.
At Norwich City, Gordon will wear the number 21 shirt.
On joining City, Gordon said: “I’m really excited to be here, it was a quick turnaround but as soon as I heard Norwich were interested in me I definitely wanted to come here, so I’m really excited to get going.
“This is a great club, my first Liverpool game was at Carrow Road and the fans and atmosphere were great, which was a good experience for me.”
Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “Kaide is an exciting young player who we’re looking forward to working with this season.
“We’re thankful to everyone at Liverpool for trusting us with this next stage in his development, in what will be his first senior loan experience.
“He will add competition in wide areas, and we are hopeful this will be a mutually beneficial step for all parties.”
