Liverpool will face title rivals Manchester City on Sunday, December 1, following the latest round of Premier League matches selected for live television broadcast.
Three of the Reds’ upcoming fixtures in November and early December will be affected by these schedule changes.
The highlight is the clash with defending champions Manchester City, now set for a 4pm kick-off, with the game to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
However, the most disruptive change could be the rescheduling of Liverpool’s home game against Aston Villa.
Originally planned for a Saturday lunchtime slot on November 9, the match will now kick off at 8pm that evening.
TNT Sports have opted for the late start to accommodate Villa, who will play an away Champions League fixture against Young Boys in Switzerland earlier that week.
Additionally, Liverpool’s trip to Southampton has been moved to Sunday, November 24. The game will now start at 2pm and will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
This period, following the November international break, will test the depth of Arne Slot’s squad.
The City showdown comes in the midst of a challenging run, sandwiched between a Champions League clash with Real Madrid and a Premier League visit to Newcastle United.
Liverpool will also gear up for a Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park during this busy stretch.
New details for the forthcoming games that have been rescheduled can be seen below (times GMT).
