Brentford are expected to entertain offers for Bryan Mbeumo this summer, with the in-form forward attracting interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
Since arriving in the Premier League in 2021, Mbeumo has established himself as a consistent attacking threat.
This season, he has stepped up significantly in the absence of Ivan Toney, who moved to Saudi Arabia.
Operating both as a winger and a central striker, the versatile forward has scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in 35 appearances – an attacking return bettered by only four players in the league.
Mbeumo’s standout performances have put him firmly on the radar of several top clubs.
Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United were previously linked with the 25-year-old, and recent reports indicate that Manchester United have now joined the race for his signature.
According to Sky Sports News, Brentford are open to letting Mbeumo leave if a suitable offer arrives, with a valuation of around £60million being considered.
While club captain Christian Norgaard has admitted he expects the forward to depart, manager Thomas Frank remains determined to try and keep him at the club beyond this summer.
“I’m the head coach, I want my best players to stay forever,” Frank said recently.
“I know that Bryan is very happy here at Brentford, he’s thriving, doing well and playing fantastic. What happens in the future? I don’t know.
“I’ve said many times: we are a selling club. But at the same time, we have to reinforce that ten clubs in the world aren’t selling clubs.
“So of course, if the right price – and that’s going to be expensive – is coming, then I’m sure the club will be open for it.
“But I’m very happy he’s here and I’m convinced Bryan will still be happy playing football here.”
