Kingsley Coman is expected to leave Bayern Munich this summer, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur all reportedly vying for his signature.
Bayern Munich had long planned to offload one of their wingers ahead of next season, and while Leroy Sané was initially considered the more likely candidate to depart, the German international has reportedly secured a contract extension after impressing coach Vincent Kompany.
This shift now leaves Coman as the prime candidate for departure, with Sky Sport Germany reporting that the French winger is dissatisfied with his limited role at Bayern and has expressed his intention to leave the club.
Though there is interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Arsenal are said to be the front-runner for Coman’s signature, according to the latest reports.
Tottenham Hotspur also hold interest in the 28-year-old but have yet to move forward with a bid due to concerns over his wage demands.
On the other hand, Christian Falk has suggested that Arsenal’s interest may not be as intense as Liverpool’s, with the Reds closely monitoring developments regarding Coman’s future.
Previous reports have suggested that Kingsley Coman could be available for around £30million as he enters the final two years of his contract.
Bayern are reportedly keen to sell the winger in order to free up funds for a major signing, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz identified as a potential replacement.
Coman has made just 11 Bundesliga starts this season, coming off the bench in another 11 appearances, while contributing a respectable tally of four goals and four assists.
Having joined Bayern at the age of 19 after spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, Coman is approaching a decade with the Bavarian club.
He will forever be remembered in Bayern Munich history for scoring the winning goal in the 2020 UEFA Champions League final.
