Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is reportedly weighing up a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, as uncertainty grows over his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium.
According to the Daily Mail, the Belgium international is attracting fresh interest from the Middle East, a year after Al Ittihad saw a £25million offer rejected by Arsenal.
The Gunners refused to sell at the time, but may now face a tougher challenge in keeping the 29-year-old.
Trossard, who has contributed 10 goals and eight assists across all competitions this season, is entering the final 12 months of his contract.
Arsenal are understood to have opened talks over a potential extension, but convincing the player to turn down a big-money move could prove difficult.
As he approaches his 31st birthday, Trossard is believed to view this summer as his last chance to secure a major payday and is said to be open to offers from Saudi Arabian clubs.
While Arsenal would prefer to keep Trossard, they are unlikely to stand in his way should he opt to pursue a new challenge.
The Gunners are already exploring options to strengthen their left flank, with only Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli currently available in that position.
Reinforcements were being considered even before doubts emerged over Trossard’s future.
Athletic Club star Nico Williams is the club’s dream target, but his reported £400,000-a-week wage demands could prove a stumbling block.
AC Milan’s Rafael Leão and Borussia Dortmund youngster Jamie Bynoe-Gittens are also under consideration.
However, Arsenal may face stiff competition from Chelsea, who are also monitoring the same targets.
