Six Liverpool players featured in international action on Thursday evening.

World Cup qualifying took centre stage, with Conor Bradley playing 77 minutes for Northern Ireland in their 3-1 away victory over Luxembourg.

In Group A, Florian Wirtz completed the full 90 minutes as Germany suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Slovakia.

Meanwhile, Group G saw a trio of Reds in action for the Netherlands, as Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo all started and played the entire match in a 1-1 draw with Poland in Rotterdam.

Earlier in the evening, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was in the starting XI for Georgia, who were beaten 3-2 at home by Turkiye in their Group E clash.

At U21 level, Trent Kone-Doherty was an unused substitute as the Republic of Ireland claimed a 2-1 away win over Moldova in European Championship qualifying.
