Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has been fined £8,000 for his actions near the Anfield tunnel after the Reds’ 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Video footage emerged after Saturday’s game showing Alisson kicking the fourth official’s board as he left the pitch at full-time.
The 33-year-old had conceded a penalty during the match, with Morgan Gibbs-White converting to put Forest 2-1 ahead.
However, the Key Match Incidents panel later ruled that the spot-kick should not have been awarded.
The fourth official’s board had also malfunctioned earlier in the game when Liverpool were attempting to make substitutions at 1-1.
The Reds were unable to make a change on three occasions before Forest were eventually awarded the controversial penalty.
An FA spokesperson confirmed that Alisson accepted a misconduct charge after being accused of “acting in an improper manner around the tunnel area”.
