Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has named a 28-man squad for the 2026 World Cup preparation camp and the international friendly against Wales in Cardiff.

The group consists of five goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards.

The team began camp on Monday, May 25, 2026, training at Dragon Park in Cardiff ahead of the fixture against Wales on June 2.

Greece-based defender Baba Abdul Rahman returns for the first time since September 2023 after consistent performances for PAOK, where he has made 35 appearances this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Olympique Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah also returns after a long injury layoff following an ACL tear that kept him out for over a year. He is now fully fit and available for selection.

Other returnees include Rayo Vallecano defender Abdul Mumin, Saint-Étienne midfielder Augustine Boakye, and Stade Rennes defender Alidu Seidu.

Ajax youngster Paul Reverson has also been included for assessment with a long-term view after impressing at youth level in the Netherlands.

Ghana will face Wales in Cardiff before heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they will meet Panama, England, and Croatia in Group L.
