Curtis Jones has completed a permanent transfer from Liverpool to Inter Milan, subject to international clearance.

Having joined Liverpool’s Academy at under-9 level, Jones leaves the club after winning six major trophies, including two Premier League titles.

The midfielder made 228 senior appearances for Liverpool, scoring 22 goals.

Jones progressed through the club’s youth system before making his first-team debut just weeks before his 18th birthday in January 2019.

A year later, he scored his first senior goal in memorable fashion, curling a long-range effort into the top corner as a young Liverpool side defeated Everton in the FA Cup at Anfield.

Curtis Jones made history in the next round when, aged 19 years and five days, he became Liverpool’s youngest-ever captain as he led the club’s youngest team to victory over Shrewsbury Town.

He went on to win the FIFA Club World Cup and his first Premier League title before adding the FA Cup and Carabao Cup to his collection in 2021-22.

Following Arne Slot’s appointment in 2024, Jones made 46 appearances in all competitions as Liverpool won the Premier League title in 2024-25.

He made a further 49 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, his final season at Anfield.
