Liverpool have opened talks with Crystal Palace over a potential move for Ismaila Sarr, according to talkSPORT.
The Reds are understood to have sounded out Palace over a deal for the 28-year-old winger after Brighton set an £80 million asking price for Yankuba Minteh.
Brighton have already rejected two Liverpool bids for Minteh, with the latest worth £60 million. Liverpool are not expected to make a third offer unless the Seagulls lower their valuation.
Ismaila Sarr has also attracted interest from Galatasaray this summer, but Palace rejected a bid from the Turkish giants.
The Senegal international missed Palace’s season opener against Everton due to a groin issue, despite initially being expected to feature. Palace boss Pierre Sage has reiterated his desire to keep Sarr at the club.
Sarr joined Palace from Marseille in 2024 and has since scored 33 goals and provided 10 assists in 92 appearances across all competitions. He has also helped the Eagles win the FA Cup and Conference League.
