Liverpool are pushing to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of Bradley Barcola, according to the Daily Mail.
The France international has reportedly informed PSG that he does not intend to sign a new contract and is open to a move to Anfield, with Liverpool long-time admirers of the winger.
PSG are willing to consider offers but value the 23-year-old at around £140million.
The Ligue 1 champions believe that fee reflects his age, potential and the current transfer market. Liverpool are expected to negotiate, having previously valued Barcola closer to £75million when they first made contact with his representatives last summer.
Bradley Barcola is not a regular starter under Luis Enrique, while PSG had been pursuing RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande before Real Madrid moved to secure the Ivory Coast international.
Liverpool also saw an £85million bid for Diomande rejected earlier in the window.
Despite that setback, Barcola has remained a priority target. Liverpool believe his pace, dribbling ability and attacking threat make him an ideal fit for Andoni Iraola’s system following Mohamed Salah’s departure.
Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also monitoring Barcola’s situation, while Chelsea made enquiries earlier this summer.
Arsenal are exploring ambitious moves for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr and Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, but Barcola is understood to be keen on speaking with Liverpool if the clubs can reach an agreement.
