Liverpool have officially appointed Alejandro Rosalen as the club’s new first-team goalkeeping coach.
The 49-year-old Spaniard joins Andoni Iraola’s backroom staff, replacing Xavi Valero, who departed the Reds after his second spell at the club.
Rosalen arrives at Anfield with extensive experience, having most recently spent four seasons with Serie A side Napoli, where he helped the club win two Scudetto titles in 2022-23 and 2024-25.
Before his time in Naples, he spent eight years at Fiorentina following a season with Hungarian side Videoton.
Alejandro Rosalen began his coaching career in Valencia’s academy, where he worked for eight years before moving into senior football.
