Liverpool expected to register interest in £100m-rated Elliot Anderson
Anderson has quickly become one of the most sought-after midfielders in England, with Forest reportedly valuing him at between £80–100 million

Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson is attracting widespread Premier League interest, with Liverpool among the clubs expected to be in the race for the highly-rated midfielder.
Anderson has quickly become one of the most sought-after midfielders in England, with Forest reportedly valuing him at between £80–100 million.
The versatile midfielder, capable of operating as a No. 6 or No. 8, has excelled since joining Forest from Newcastle in 2024 as the Magpies moved to ease their PSR pressure.
Manchester City are understood to view Anderson as a priority target, while the Daily Mail reports that “both Liverpool and Manchester United will be interested in Elliot Anderson,” with a belief that a player tipped to become an England regular for years to come is simply “too good to pass by.”
The reported fee, however, makes a Newcastle return highly unlikely, given their financial restrictions.
City are also weighing up a move for Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, another player linked with Liverpool, who is available for around £65 million due to a release clause active in January.
Anderson’s rapid rise has continued at international level, breaking into England’s midfield alongside Declan Rice this season.
Since making his debut in September, he has already earned six caps.
