Liverpool’s 2026-27 Premier League fixtures set to be released on Friday

The new campaign is scheduled to begin on the weekend of August 22 and conclude on Sunday, May 30.

The new campaign is scheduled to begin on the weekend of August 22 and conclude on Sunday, May 30. The season will consist of 33 weekend rounds and five midweek rounds.

Elsewhere, Virgil van Dijk bumped into Jürgen Klopp while away with the Netherlands at the World Cup.

The Liverpool captain took a selfie with the club’s former manager, who is working at the tournament as an analyst for German television.

Van Dijk made 270 appearances under Klopp after joining Liverpool from Southampton in January 2018.

Klopp shared the photo on his official Instagram account with the caption: “Look who I met.”
