Omar Marmoush would ‘immediately agree’ to join Liverpool from Frankfurt

The Egyptian attacker is currently outscoring Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane in the Bundesliga scoring charts this season.

Liverpool have been in contact with the camp of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

The German club has set Marmoush’s asking price between €50million and €60million.

Impressively, the Egyptian attacker is currently outscoring Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane in the Bundesliga scoring charts this season.

In just seven league games, Marmoush has netted nine goals and provided four assists, surpassing Kane by one goal.

This performance highlights his potential as a strong contender for the Bundesliga Golden Boot.

Plettenberg posted on X: “Eintracht Frankfurt are currently demanding a transfer fee of between €50-60m for Omar #Marmoush.

“Liverpool is indeed a serious option.

“The interest is real, and there has already been contact between the player’s camp and #LFC.

“#SGE are aware of it.

“Marmoush dreams of a move to the Premier League and would immediately agree to join Liverpool.”

The Reds are reportedly not alone in their interest.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid have all been monitoring Marmoush as he continues to demonstrate his exceptional goal-scoring form.

Liverpool are actively seeking attacking options due to uncertainties surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future.

The star forward has yet to sign a new contract and, with only one year remaining on his deal at Anfield, speculation about his long-term future is growing.

Salah is reportedly seeking a lucrative three-year extension, but his links to potential exits raise concerns for the Reds.

While Marmoush prefers a central role, he is not being considered a direct replacement for Salah.

His versatility allows him to excel both as a central attacker and on the wings, making him an attractive option for Liverpool.

The 25-year-old is a natural goal scorer, and manager Arne Slot would likely welcome someone like Marmoush to lead the attack.

Additionally, Liverpool have also been linked with Lille forward Jonathan David, underscoring their intent to strengthen their offensive lineup in the upcoming transfer window.
