Arsenal have reportedly surged ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea in the pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt star forward Omar Marmoush.
The Egyptian international has been in scintillating form this season under manager Dino Toppmöller, contributing significantly to Frankfurt’s rise to third place in the Bundesliga standings.
Omar Marmoush has scored an impressive 18 goals and provided 11 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.
The 24-year-old’s performances have drawn attention from several top European clubs, with Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea all expressing interest in securing his services.
According to CaughtOffside, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are now considered frontrunners in the race to land Marmoush.
Marmoush is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until the summer of 2027, and the Bundesliga side are reportedly set to demand a transfer fee of around €60million (£50.1m/$63m) for the prolific forward in January.
The Egyptian star will return to action after the winter break when Frankfurt take on FC St. Pauli in the Bundesliga on January 11, giving scouts from interested clubs another opportunity to evaluate his talents.
