Arne Slot has been handed a massive injury boost as Liverpool returned to the AXA Training Centre on Monday, ahead of their Champions League trip to Galatasaray.
The Reds arrived back on Merseyside following their 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday evening and spent Sunday in recovery due to the quick turnaround.
Training resumed on Monday morning before the squad’s flight to Istanbul later in the day, with the welcome update that there are no fresh injury concerns for Slot’s side.
Giovanni Leoni remains the only senior player currently sidelined, while Jayden Danns and Stefan Bajcetic also missed out with hamstring issues.
Liverpool are expected to name a 23-man travelling squad for their second match of the Champions League group phase.
Alexander Isak trained with the group in the sunshine, having played 84 minutes on Saturday, his longest outing since joining the club.
However, the Swede is unlikely to start in Istanbul, with Hugo Ekitike available again following suspension and the in-form Federico Chiesa now eligible to feature in Europe.
Slot is expected to make several changes for Tuesday’s 8pm kick-off.
Slot will address the media in Turkey at 7pm UK time, by which point Liverpool will have already confirmed their travelling squad.
