Liverpool hold further talks with PSG for Bradley Barcola

There has been a significant gap in valuation between the two clubs, with PSG asking for around £145million for the France international

Liverpool are holding further talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Bradley Barcola, according to Sky Sports.

There has been a significant gap in valuation between the two clubs, with PSG asking for around £145million for the France international.

However, discussions have been positive, with optimism that a deal can be reached before the deadline.

There are also good relations between the two clubs at the highest level, which could help Liverpool and PSG reach an agreement.

Liverpool have also explored a move for Barcola’s PSG teammate Ibrahim Mbaye, who operates on the right wing.

The Premier League club’s priority throughout the summer has been to strengthen in wide areas.

They have pursued Bradley Barcola and Mbaye, while Brighton have rejected two offers for Yankuba Minteh, the latest worth £60million.

Liverpool are currently the only club pursuing Barcola, who has two years remaining on his contract and is reportedly unhappy with his role at PSG.

Liverpool also remain reluctant to sell Cody Gakpo amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. The Reds would likely need to sign two new wingers before considering his departure.
