Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush set to miss Manchester Derby
He has netted eight times in 28 appearances for Man City

Manchester City are expected be without Omar Marmoush for Sunday’s Manchester derby after the Egypt forward suffered a knee injury while on international duty.
The 26-year-old was replaced in the ninth minute of Egypt’s World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso, which ended in a goalless draw, in Ouagadougou on Tuesday.
Marmoush, who moved to City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59million in January, was injured following a robust challenge in the fourth minute.
Initial scans in Egypt indicated that Marmoush would miss Manchester United’s visit to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The club confirmed that he “will now return to Manchester for further assessment and to begin his rehabilitation.”
Despite receiving on-field treatment, Marmoush initially continued before being replaced by Osama Faisal.
He has netted eight times in 28 appearances for Man City.
City boss Pep Guardiola could face limited attacking options, with summer signing Rayan Cherki sidelined with a hamstring injury and England midfielder Phil Foden unavailable for the defeat to Brighton before the international break.
