Manchester United consider surprise move for Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson is currently valued at around £100million

Manchester United are reportedly considering a shock move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, who is currently valued at around £100 million ($135million).

The Red Devils are in the market for attacking reinforcements this summer and have emerged as one of several clubs monitoring the Senegal international’s situation.

Chelsea are expected to make a final decision on Jackson’s future after the conclusion of the Club World Cup.

Earlier reports suggested that the Blues were reluctant to part ways with the striker, despite him falling down the pecking order under new manager Enzo Maresca.

The club have reportedly maintained a valuation of around £100million for the player.

However, according to journalist Nabil Djellit, Manchester United and other interested clubs may benefit from Chelsea softening their stance.

The Premier League giants could be willing to sell Jackson for approximately €70million (£60million), with a final decision to be made following the Club World Cup.

Other clubs, including Aston Villa, have also expressed interest in the forward, while Italian Serie A champions Napoli are reportedly keen on signing him.

Chelsea’s focus remain firmly on winning the Club World Cup, where they are set to face Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday in New Jersey.
