Martin Odegaard participated in training with the Arsenal squad on Tuesday morning as they prepare for their Champions League match against Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The Gunners travel to Italy with an impressive record in this season’s Champions League, having won two and drawn one of their three matches so far.
Inter Milan boast an identical record, setting the stage for a challenging encounter at the San Siro.
Among those training at the Sobha Realty Training Centre in north London was Martin Odegaard, who has been sidelined since the 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of August due to a foot injury sustained while on international duty with Norway in September.
Fortunately, the 25-year-old has made significant strides in his recovery, raising hopes that he could return to action against Inter.
However, Odegaard was not included in Norway’s Nations League squad for upcoming matches against Slovenia and Kazakhstan later this month.
It remains uncertain whether Arsenal will take the risk of fielding him against Inter, especially with a crucial Premier League match against Chelsea on the horizon.
In addition, Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Kieran Tierney did not train with the squad on Tuesday as they continue to recover from their injuries.
Manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that the trio is expected to return following the November international break.
The Arsenal squad is scheduled to fly to Italy on Tuesday afternoon, with Arteta and Bukayo Saka set to address the media around 6pm GMT.
