Salah ended his nine-year spell at Anfield this summer after reaching a mutual agreement with Liverpool to terminate his contract a year early and leave on a free transfer.
The Egypt international’s future has since been the subject of widespread speculation, with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal among the leading contenders.
MLS clubs in the United States, along with Turkish giants Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas, have also been linked.
Now, Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa has suggested that an announcement over the forward’s next destination could be imminent.
Posting on social media, he said: “We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season by we may know very soon.
“It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.”
