Paul Pogba set for Manchester United return
Pogba, who previously played for Juventus, has been sidelined since the summer of last year due to a doping violation
Former Manchester United star Louis Saha has suggested that Paul Pogba could be offered an opportunity to train with the club in 2025 as he prepares to return to football after serving his ban.
Pogba, who previously played for Juventus, has been sidelined since the summer of last year due to a doping violation.
Initially handed a four-year suspension, the ban was later reduced to 18 months.
While he will be eligible to join a new club in January, the Frenchman cannot play competitively until March.
The midfielder officially parted ways with Juventus last month following a turbulent spell marred by injuries and limited game time.
Paul Pogba managed just 203 minutes across two seasons before his suspension brought an end to his time in Turin.
After declaring in October that “the nightmare is over,” Pogba is eager to revive his career.
According to Saha, his former Manchester United and France teammate, the opportunity to train with Man United would be a significant step in his comeback journey.
He told Casino Utan Spelpaus : “I’ve heard some rumours that Paul Pogba will be offered the opportunity to come back and train with Man Utd in the New Year, and I think that would be a great opportunity for Paul.
“He needs to get back to his best level as quickly as possible, and training with top players will help him to do that. I think he would be thrilled to have the opportunity to go back to the club.”
