Ruben Amorim calls on Manchester United to be “brave” against Arsenal

Ruben Amorim has urged his Manchester United players to be “brave” in their upcoming match against Arsenal, describing it as their biggest test yet under his management.
Amorim has overseen two wins and a draw in his first three games in charge of Manchester United.
However, he acknowledged that facing Mikel Arteta’s side represents a significant step up for both himself and his players.
“It’s important to be brave,” said Ruben Amorim.
“When I say brave, it’s not pressing all the time higher, it’s not the same.
“We have to understand the game, moments of the game, when we have to have the ball.
“That’s a key point, because we want to have the ball, we also want to dominate some moments of the game, because we know that in this match it’s hard to control all of the game.
“So if I have to say something, it is that we have to be brave.
“Arsenal are the best team that we will have faced by far, but the test is every game.
“If you see the last game, against Everton, it was 4-0, but it was really tough.
“Everything now is a test, without so many minutes to train, trying to manage the number of minutes for a lot of players who cannot try to imagine one game.
“You have to know that some players have to be out of the pitch in 60 or 70 minutes, so it’s really hard at the moment and everything is a test. But Arsenal are at a different point with their team, they are in a different moment.”
