Mohamed Salah reported to be in talks with Paris Saint-Germain

The Liverpool icon, whose contract runs until 2025, has yet to receive an extension offer from the club

Mohamed Salah is reportedly in discussions with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over a potential free transfer next summer.

The Liverpool icon, whose contract runs until 2025, has yet to receive an extension offer from the club, raising doubts about his long-term future at Anfield.

The Egyptian winger, Liverpool’s third-highest scorer in history, netted his 13th goal of the season in the recent 2-0 win over Manchester City.

However, speculation about his departure continues to grow.

According to L’Équipe, Salah has initiated talks with Paris Saint-Germain, opening the door to a potential move to the reigning Ligue 1 champions next summer.

PSG, eager to replace the star power lost after Kylian Mbappé’s free transfer to Real Madrid, remain in the market for an elite winger.

Having failed to secure deals for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the French giants have also expressed interest in Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.

Salah has been a long-term target for PSG, and next summer could be their best chance to secure the prolific forward.

Should Liverpool fail to agree to a contract extension by January, Salah would enter the final 18 months of his deal, allowing him to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs ahead of a potential summer move.

The coming months will be crucial in determining the future of one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever players.
