Gomez pulled up shortly before halftime and required extensive treatment on the pitch before being substituted for Jarell Quansah.

“(He has had) few appearances and the way he played today shows also how important that it is that we keep working with these players because we’re going to need all of them at a certain moment.
“And today Jarell played a very good game for us.”
