Liverpool include Salah, Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk in official calendar for 2025 amid contract saga

The trio, whose contracts expire in June, are yet to agree on new deals with the club

Liverpool have included Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk in their official 2025 calendar, but all three players appear only in the first four months of the year, fuelling growing speculation about their futures at Anfield.

The trio, whose contracts expire in June, are yet to agree on new deals with the club, and doubts are rising as rumors swirl about potential moves elsewhere.

Alexander-Arnold, featured in the calendar for February, continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid, where he could reunite with close friend Jude Bellingham at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Salah, who appears in March, remains a target for clubs in the Saudi Pro League, with his future at Liverpool increasingly uncertain.

Van Dijk, who graces the April page, has been non-committal when asked about his future, though he has reiterated his commitment to giving everything for the club in the short term.

“I’m feeling very good, physically and mentally,” Van Dijk said last month.

“I’m in a good place and yeah nothing more can be said, I just want to keep enjoying the game.”

Alisson Becker, currently sidelined with an injury and recently linked with a transfer by some pundits, features in the January slot of the team calendar.

Notably, his impressive deputy, Caoimhin Kelleher, does not make an appearance.

Federico Chiesa, who has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the starting XI since his summer arrival, is featured in June.

The Italian winger continues to be the subject of transfer speculation back home in Italy.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram has been identified as a potential summer signing, contingent on player departures.

Arne Slot’s side resume Premier League action with a trip to Southampton on Sunday, holding a five-point lead over reigning champions Manchester City at the top of the table.

In Europe, the Reds sit atop the expanded Champions League league phase. They face a pivotal clash with Real Madrid at Anfield next week.
