Liverpool join Chelsea and Manchester United in race for Jarrod Bowen

West Ham may need to raise over £100m if relegated from the Premier League, with growing interest in Bowen from several top clubs

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in Jarrod Bowen as rival clubs prepare to capitalise on West Ham’s financial problems, according to The Guardian.

West Ham may need to raise over £100m if relegated from the Premier League, with growing interest in Bowen from several top clubs.

The England winger has 21 combined goals and assists this season and could reconsider his future if Nuno Espírito Santo’s side drop into the Championship.

Jarrod Bowen has been a key player for West Ham since joining from Hull in January 2020 and is regarded as one of the club’s most important modern-era figures. He famously scored the winner in the 2020 Conference League final against Fiorentina.

The 29-year-old, who hopes to be named in England’s World Cup squad on Friday, has remained loyal to West Ham but relegation could change his stance.

Liverpool are long-term admirers and could move for him to strengthen their attack. Manchester United, having qualified for the Champions League, are also interested, valuing his versatility across the front line.

Chelsea are monitoring the situation as they look to add experienced attacking options.

Bowen is under contract until 2030, and West Ham would demand a significant fee if he were to leave, especially under financial pressure following a reported £104.2m loss. Relegation would intensify the need to sell key players.

There is also interest in Mateus Fernandes from Arsenal, United and Paris Saint-Germain, while Crysencio Summerville is expected to be available for transfer. West Ham could be relegated if Tottenham take a point from either of their final two matches.
