Liverpool tipped to win Premier League title ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal this season

The Reds now hold just a two-point lead over Chelsea at the top of the table

Liverpool have received a fresh assessment in the race for the Premier League title this season. The Reds dropped two points over the weekend after being held to a 2-2 draw at home by Fulham.

Goals from Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota canceled out strikes from Andreas Pereira and Rodrigo Muniz, with Liverpool managing to secure a draw after Andy Robertson’s red card.

As a result, the Reds now hold just a two-point lead over Chelsea at the top of the table, though they do have a game in hand and a nine-point advantage over Manchester City.

Arne Slot’s team will face Southampton in the Carabao Cup this week before returning to Premier League action against Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend.

After another dramatic round of top-flight fixtures, Liverpool’s chances of winning the league have once again been assessed.

BETSiE, a supercomputer powered by BettingExpert.com, has crunched the numbers and provided an updated forecast for how the Premier League table could look at the end of the season.

The latest prediction has Liverpool finishing as champions, with 81.2 points, enough to secure the title ahead of second-placed Chelsea, who are projected to finish with 74.7 points.

Arsenal are predicted to come in third with 74.5 points, while Manchester City are forecasted to finish fourth with 70 points, over 11 points behind Liverpool if the predictions hold true.

Liverpool are given a 63.9% chance of winning the Premier League this season and a 99.1% probability of finishing in the top four.

In comparison, Chelsea have a 16.8% chance of claiming the title, Arsenal 15.1%, and Manchester City just 3.9%.

Liverpool will face Southampton in the Carabao Cup quarter-final this week before taking on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at the weekend.

This will be their final match before Christmas, with the New Year approaching rapidly.
