Marcus Rashford reacts furiously to latest Manchester Utd exit reports

The 27-year-old has struggled for game time under new manager Ruben Amorim, raising questions about his future at Old Trafford

Marcus Rashford has hit back at a media report alleging that he met with Gareth Bale’s former agency, Stellar, in an attempt to hasten his departure from Manchester United.

On Wednesday, The Sun claimed the English forward had engaged in discussions with Stellar, the agency that facilitated Bale’s then-world record £86million ($108m) move from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013.

Rashford wasted no time refuting the story, taking to Instagram to share a screenshot of the article’s headline.

Alongside it, he wrote a scathing caption: “Been a lot of false stories written over past few weeks, but guys this is getting ridiculous.

“Never met with any agency and don’t have any plans to.”

Last month, Marcus Rashford admitted he is considering a new challenge after spending nearly a decade in Manchester United’s senior team.

The 27-year-old has struggled for game time under new manager Ruben Amorim, raising questions about his future at Old Trafford.

Rashford has been omitted from the matchday squad for three consecutive Premier League games.

While he was included in the squad for United’s clash against Newcastle United on Monday, he remained an unused substitute as the team continues to adapt to Amorim’s tactical vision.

As the Red Devils aim to start 2025 on a positive note, their first match of the year pits them against arch-rivals and Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield this Sunday. However, it remains uncertain whether Rashford will feature in the much-anticipated showdown.
