Mohamed Salah nears contract extension agreement
Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah likely to stay at the Club beyond his current contract as the Club deems him irreplacable
According to multiple grapevine reports, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will most likely stay at the Club beyond his current contract.
The Egyptian has been in scintillating form for the Club this term, scoring 10 goals and assisting 10 times as well in 17 matches in all competitions.
And the 32-year-old’s imperious form has led eyebrows raised as to when Liverpool would offer him a new contract. The winger himself is calm about the situation and in an interview with Sky Sports after the 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford in August said he was waiting on the Club to make an offer and that nobody from the Club had spoken to him about a potential contract.
However, reports last week suggested the Club had opened talks of a new contract with Mohamed Salah and his representatives. This many believe has come in the wake of a public backlash on the Club for leaving things late with their most prized asset.

According to transfer pundit James Wathland, Mohamed Salah is sure that he wants to remain at Liverpool. His post on his X (formerly Twitter) account read,
“Mohamed Salah is sure. He wants to stay. LFC is sure. They want Salah to stay. The word going around is a 3-year contract until 2028 with the same salary of £350,000 per week. Salah wants a huge sign-on fee, but they WILL come to an agreement.
