Earlier in the evening, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was in the starting XI for Georgia, who were beaten 3-2 at home by Turkiye in their Group E clash.
At U21 level, Trent Kone-Doherty was an unused substitute as the Republic of Ireland claimed a 2-1 away win over Moldova in European Championship qualifying.
