Kostas Tsimikas has completed a season-long loan move to AS Roma.
The Liverpool full-back will spend the 2025/26 campaign with the Serie A side after finalising his temporary switch today.
Tsimikas signed for the Reds from Olympiacos in the summer of 2020 and has since made 115 appearances for the club.
During his time at Anfield, he has lifted the Premier League title, the Emirates FA Cup – famously netting the winning penalty in the 2022 final against Chelsea – and the Carabao Cup on two occasions.

The 29-year-old will now link up with Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma, who have won both of their opening league fixtures this season and are also competing in the Europa League.
Tsimikas, born in Thessaloniki on 12 May 1996, began his football journey in the youth setups of Neapoli Thessaloniki and Panserraikos before joining Olympiacos, where he made his professional debut in 2015.
In January 2017, he moved to Danish side Esbjerg for the remainder of the season before spending the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Dutch club Willem II, making 33 Eredivisie appearances.
Returning to Olympiacos in 2018, he established himself as a key figure and was named Greek Footballer of the Year in 2020.
That recognition paved the way for a transfer to Liverpool, where he spent the next five seasons.
On the international stage, he has earned 41 senior caps for Greece to date.
Tsimikas is now the eighth Greek player to represent Roma, following in the footsteps of José Cholevas, Lampros Choutos, Traianos Dellas, Dimitrios Keramitsis, Kostas Manolas, Panagiotis Tachtsidis, and Vasilios Torosidis.
He will wear the No.12 shirt for the Giallorossi.
